At Earthbound, every project begins with a relationship. We specialize in high-end casework, furniture, and architectural details that blend precision with artistry—but for us, the process is just as important as the product. Our team takes pride not only in what we build, but in making the journey straightforward and enjoyable for everyone involved. The result is spaces that feel as good as they look. Tell us about your project; we’re ready to bring it to life.

Custom cabinetry
Our bread and butter since the beginning. We have extensive experience working with some of the premier architects, contractors, and designers in Portland and the Northwest. From a 6-square-foot built-in ballroom bar in a historic Eastmoreland home, to matching casework in all twelve rooms of a new luxury home on the westside, we work on projects of all different sizes, both residential and in commercial spaces.
Custom furniture
The occasional furniture commission or furniture element within a built-in installation keeps our woodworking skills well honed, and our workshop covered in sweet-smelling dust. We are more than happy to provide you with an estimate for your one-of-a kind dining table, reception desk, conference table, dresser, media console, record cabinet, or coffee table idea—the sky’s the limit.
Design and engineering
Most of the time, a project comes to us with the design generally sketched out, and we take it the rest of the way, ensuring industry and shop standards are being met and the products are buildable, functional, and beautiful. Occasionally we get the pleasure of R&D-ing a hidden bookcase door or a custom brass shelf bracket. And sometimes, we’re approached with just the makings of an idea, and we can help give life to those, too.
Building dreams since 2006
We value the community we’ve developed over nearly 20 years of working with homeowners, contractors, architects, designers, suppliers, and fellow tradespeople—many of whom we now count as our friends. Take a look at what we’ve built together.
